Tomie dePaola

Beloved author and illustrator Tomie dePaola passed away today following complications from a fall. He was 85 years old.
He was the acclaimed author and illustrator of more than 250 treasured books for children including the Newbery Honor recipient, 26 Fairmount Avenue, and the Caldecott Honor book, Strega Nona.
His deep love of life and all its miracles was absolutely inspiring. He will be deeply missed.
